Welcome to the CAL/KAL!
I taught myself to crochet as a child. I learned to knit too, but couldn't purl, so I put up my needles until 3 years ago. I got a CD ROM, learned to purl, and haven't turned back since.
I recently picked up the Candi Jensen book Knitting Loves Crochet, and I felt the love right away, and it gave me the idea for this CAL/KAL .
I want to to share the love that I have for both, and I want this CAL/KAL to reflect that. If you are primarily a knitter, crochet something. If you crochet, knit something, it you do both, choose a project that does both. If you want to learn one or the other or both, now's the time to try.
I will choose something from the book, although it's totally not necessary.
Come on, feel the love.
